Times music critic re Barclays Center: "It can be hard to remember what all the fuss was about."

File this under the category, Great Moments in Conclusory Journalism, written by a Music Reviewer.

From the New York Times, Home Turf for a Band With Global Reach: Vampire Weekend Brings Its Tour to the Barclays Center, by Jon Caramanica:
That arena in Brooklyn doesn’t feel like the monument it was intended to be, or the rude intrusion it seemed destined to be. It sits there, more or less quietly, taking in several thousand people on game or show nights, then expelling them with little fanfare. Post-event, the crowds tend to dissipate quickly. After Jay Z played eight shows to open the Barclays Center last fall, it became just another local landmark. It can be hard to remember what all the fuss was about.
That link, by the way, goes back to Caramanica's own Jay-Z review. As for the "fuss," there could be other links.
